Since our review and Legendary tips feature went live earlier on this week I've been inundated with messages over Twitter, email and Xbox Live, all sharing the same sentiment: "Holy hell! This IS the hardest Halo yet!" That said, there is more of an incentive than in years gone by to get through it. Not only is there the usual couple of hefty achievements to unlock, but this year sees the Legendary ending (kind of) return. What's more, complete it - we're not sure whether that's solo or co-op though - and you can don the Chief's Mark VI armour online and be the envy of your friends. I say "kind of" regarding the ending, because there's only a fraction of a second more than the Heroic ending, but it's a good fraction of a second! Like I said previously, Halo 4 overall is in our opinion, and in many of yours, the hardest Halo yet. There's no chokepoints of really supremely difficult moments like previous Halos, but the whole experience is generally tougher thanks to the Prometheans. I also get the feeling already that some of you have given up or won't even attempt it, so today we thought we'd bring you the HD Legendary ending for your viewing pleasure in case you don't get that far or don't have the inclination to do it, as well as giving you a look at the Master Chief armour you can unlock. you beat the game on Legendary and it can be done in co/op as well doesnt really matter how you do it but has to be completed all 8 levels on legendary.
