[Tutorial] How to Mod Halo 4 Campaign

In this tutorial, we will go over how to mod your campaign game in Halo 4. You can edit you weapon clip and ammo, as well as your grenade ammo and make yourself invincible.

You will need the following :

A Halo 4 game save

360Revolution

Ok, now that you have these two things let's begin.....

1. Transfer your save to an xbox compatible USB device and then transfer your save from your USB device to your computer. (*Be sure to BACKUP your save*)

2. Open 360Revolution and scroll down to Halo 4 in the "Gamesave Mod Tools" section. Click on Halo 4 and it will open a new window within 360Revolution.




3. Click on "File" then "Open" and select your gamesave from Halo 4.




Ok now we can start modding our weapons.

4. Once your save is open, simply change the numbers to whatever you would like to be. You can max them out if you'd like right now. Click on "Invincibility" to have infinite health. Note that the max clip/ammo size is 32767 and the max amount of grenades is 127.



5. Once you have edited what you want, click "File" then "Save" in the top left of the "Halo 4" window



6. You will now see a popup that says "File Saved, Rehashed, and Resigned." You have now successfully modded your Halo 4 campaign gamesave. Simply put the save back to your USB and you will be all set to go.

I'm pretty sure you need to redo this all the time after certain areas of game and chapters..

 

Yeah I still need to test this, most likely considering that's how the rest of them have been....but maybe 343 did it different.

I'm already at the end of the fifth mission on solo legendary, but it is getting annoying now...
Do you guys think, 343 will detect a savegame mod and ban you?

Yes, you have to re-do this every level basically. Whenever it resets, just go edit your stuff again

 

Ah right so if it resets you bk to the begining of the lvl. You just edit your stuff play it again and it will save and go past the cut scene?

 

Wait, maybe I'm not understanding you correctly. So you go through level 2 and then it starts you back at the beginning of level 2? Where do you edit in this?

 

Yes i play through lvl 2 get to the cut scene at the end of the mission. No achievement pops and then it puts me back to the begining of the mission. I edit it from the the start of each mission.

 

hey stoneraz i found out how to get past it. i used the liberty mod tool, when you max out your grenades to 127 only do the frags. I did this and it worked perfect, i was trying so many different things and it would still restart but only did this way once and worked perfect
