I managed to root it with CF root 6.4, it installed cwm recovery but was the Fecal Leaking non touch version. I then went to find the touch version and try to boot my device into download mode to find it wouldn't.
I then tried to boot into recovery mode and that wouldn't, so i downloaded rom manager and installed clockwork mod recovery again and upon rebooting i have the Samsung boot logo.

I made a post on xda but some people are busy or just not interested in helping me out ;(

As its rooted and semi bricked i couldn't use the triangle away so if i send it back for repairs I'm fucked.

Every thread states you can boot into download mode to recover from a unbricked state but if you can't get into download mode wtf am i meant to do

I really hope someone can help me.....

    Update :

Does a bricked Samsung Galaxy S3 can be fix or recover back to normal?
Yes and NO, there are two types of bricks - the softbrick and hardbrick.
The Softbrick can be recovered if you can still access your Galaxy S3 Download Mode screen (Pressing VOLUME Down + HOME + POWER button). If you can't access the download mode, then you can't recover it by yourself anymore.

Hardbricks refers to the phone as totally jammed, it doesn't show anything, can't access the download mode screen. The only solution for this is by called JTAG flashing, which is forcing to install the firmware back to the phone. The process is not too easy, this includes disassembling the phone, some soldering required and flashing by means of using a flashing device tool.

So yes screwed is the word,

Haven't had any experience with Virgin so I'm not too sure on that part. What is CF root 6.4? Odin is the way to go when rooting Samsung. The only way I have ever un-bricked one is installing the stock.tar via Odin. But you have to get into download mode. That's weird it won't let you...
While you was rooting it, was it interrupted at all?

I've never used any of the touch ones. Always heard they have issues... Do you have any phone repair shops where you live? Maybe they can help you.

Try having someone else (or yourself if your talented) put in the USB cable while your holding the buttons for download mode, try the usb cable plugged into computer then try while its plugged into wall.

If he can't access download mode, then, he can't use Odin.
