Sorry to hear that, have you try deleting your profile and reloading it, if after that is downloaded you do not see your previous Bad ass rank, well you know what it means. You can still do the exploit with some of the game saves provided in this great site, just make sure that you clear the cache, and be offline. The same happened to me.
yeah that or i was going to tell you to download my save on modio and i have a tut on youtube but either way it should be pretty easy for you to get your bad ass rank up. mines up above 12.4 mill not sure how yours got reset.
there is a few saves here with massive shields. just fall in lava or shoot your feet with a rocket launcher and watch the heal plz challenge continue to complete over and over. easy 30 million rank in a very short time.
