i know i've only been here for a few hours but i've noticed that the dlownloads setion is kinds of a mess.

my suggestion is that instead of making everything into one list and spreading it over 15 pages, why don't we sort it out by A-Z pages, sort by title so anything related to that game is on one page and then sort that out by saves, Mods, ISO's etc... makes it alot easier to browse and find what you're looking for easier :)

only problem is theres premium stuff and the back up of this site with files alones massive i remember last time bullet moved servers the site took days to upload because of everything on here so to sort it all out in a-z would take bullet a very long time and hes really busy with work kids wife and life in general plus i like the way it is just now once you get used to it

ok i can understand that but if it's hosted like any other website it should be no problem moving it from one side of the server to the other, it's still hosted on that server all you'll be doing is redirecting

    I.e:

    Current:

    Downloads > xbox > Saves > List

    Suggestion:

    Downloads > Xbox >Saves > A-Z > A > List

Hey Ryan and welcome to the site. Maybe I can help explain this a bit. When people upload files, they go directly to the xpgamesaves.com/xbox/saves/ directory. In order for them to go to xpgamesaves.com/xbox/saves/A directory, an admin would have to review each upload and place it in the proper directory. There simply isn't time for that with the amount of uploads we recieve. also, most uploads are linked outside of XPG and therefor, can't be auto-assigned to a directory.

hmm, i can understand where you're coming from but in a way... yes it's possible but due to the ammount of traffic, downloaders and uploaders there just isn't enough time to do it all..

If you use the search function in the downloads there shouldnt be any need for alphabetical order.

However that been said , there is a whole new version of the site and downloads coming soon and im actually speaking with the software devs at the minute to make a few changes tothe wat the downloads operate, one of them being a drag and drop upload function...

I will look into Alphabetical listing, but am not promising anything 100% right now.

    Thankyou for your feedback.

Drag & drop uploading, you say? I like. :jump:

Any chance of upload approval process being changed any? I know personally that's the reason I upload to MediaFire & not straight to here. In the past on a few saves I uploaded it took days to get approved. With people wanting to get their save, program or whatever to the public ASAP, that extra approval time can be a put off.
