Ok - I got myself a copy of xero.exe and am attempting to mod multiplayer split screen (offline) jump height. So in xero, in the 3rd box, I put: set jump_height 999. Once I get into the game and select "Multiplayer" the system would lock up and I'd see a message that said something along the lines of jump_height cheat is not allowed. So I downloaded an old TU and now I can get the game to load, but it corrupted my profile - but still thinking I'm on the right track since it loaded. My thinking in downloading the old TU (oldest I could find - June/11) was because I had read that MP cheats were patched, but since I'm only playing offline, didn't think it would hurt to try.

So - all I really want to do is achieve a jump height high enough to jump on buildings and such. I play this game with my 12 year old all of the time and this would make things interesting. Is modding jump height possible in multiplayer?

    TIA

How should the jump height format be? Example: set jump_height "999" or set jump_height999 or set jump_height 999 ?

Here's what I'm doing (and not quite working). I make the edit, save my profile, move my profile to the hard drive, disconnect internet, clear system cache, load up game, sign in, choose multiplayer. Doesn't seem to be working - as soon I sign in, it reloads the opening "Treyarch" video sequence again and once I actually get into multiplayer - no affect on jump height. What might be the prob? thx

Anyone? And does this only work on a particular title update?

No. jump_height is cheat protected in multiplayer, so you have 2 options.

    1. Use modded .xex file what has cheat protection removed. You need JTAG, RGH or XDK to use the .xex.

    2. Use modded jump_height in singleplayer or zombie mode.

Got it. Thanks. My console is not modded aside from xkey, so modded xex is not possible (that I'm aware of). I really only want this for multi I'll give up this pursuit. Thank you!

we the people need offline Multiplayer Modding for use at home without hearing the snide remarks of other players online calling people noobs because they just started playing online and have to rank up to unlock better weapons for use. Inf.ammo , grenades, maybe health at least for player vs. player matches or team deathmatches against bots.
