I was just about to mod my XP until I seen this lol, a few people have meant to be banned (console/Xbox) for playing Halo 4 early. The new ToC came just after M$ knew there was about to be a Halo 4 leak!!
Doesn't matter if he used a different account/xbox, his online IP screwed him over. Sucks to see him banned.
If i had the money for RGH i would've bought one already, i cant imagine how fun it would be to mess around with it and i can't imagine how awesome it would be to launch games from the HDD...^_^
Been on it since 11.30 AM yesterday and not had a problem. Maybe they are banning ppl that are using truncated copies. Personally I dnt see myself getting banned but I do have spare box's incase I do...
Theirs enough of us online with it @ the mo. We will soon see if 1 of us get's banned but I just dnt see it. Over the years look how many of us have gone on games early and I personally have never known someone who has got banned for doing so. At the end of the day the possibility of getting shafted by MS is out their! It's just a risk some of us take.
well that's what you get when you play a game 1 month before release date and play it online XD (its funny that he though if you used his account and play it on a offline system then go online with the achievements he wouldn't get banned) but your lucky you didn't addz
Exactly, you just need to give M$ time to catch up with all of you, that is all. There have been plenty of bans already. Then again, maybe it's just a crapshoot and M$ is just banning people here and there and maybe you'll get lucky. Quite possibly, the more people that go online, the bigger the chance that it will be an instant ban for everyone, once M$ gets ****** off enough. It wouldn't be the first time they insta-banned everyone and then just reversed it for the ones that could prove they were being legit.
Is there a possibility of ban if i only use my RGH and use a new "dummy" profile? I haven't played it yet, i just want to be safe.
Like I said in the other topic this hasn't been shipped for release this leak isn't the same as others and it's a M$ game. The new terms of conduct got released as soon as M$ seen a leak coming and it's all about this sort of thing so we'll see. There was a load of people banned already and I see more coming 100%.
ok this pretty much settles it. im not going online again until the release and im deleting the achievements from my profile. ive been playing halo 4 on my rgh slim. hopeful someones knows a way to remove the game data from your profile. .
