Basically, my mate has a flashed 360 and put downpour in. He wasnt on lt3.0 and it flashed him to stock and updated the dashboard i beleive. It hasnt been on live since before he did that so is there anyway to stop it from banning it? Cheers for anyhelp, if you need any more information just ask Plus rep to people who can help
Just curious why your under the assumption it will get banned,,The update that flashed your drive back to stock was sometime in 2011, I think,,,,,,,aside of that if it did flash him back to stock then I don't see why it would get banned as it's now a legit unflashed box that will only run retail games. If he is concerned about it, then I would say just reflash with lt3.0 and keep it offline,,, as far as unbanning ,, It would have to be a Jtag-RGH to be able to swap the KV to unban it.
I assumed that if it got flashed back to stock that it would be flagged for a ban? I am buying it off him for cheap anyway now so if its not banned then thats good otherwise i will rgh it, cheers
Yeah I wouldn't be to worried about it getting banned,,should be just fine,.,, but if your going to RGH it I would do it before you try to connect to live,,because as far as I know it will have to be on dashboard 14719 or lower (current 15574 cannot be done) and live will make you update to current to connect. and for that matter if it's going to be an offline console,, you may as well RGH it ,,the benefits far out way that of burned discs or xkey options unless it's going to be a live box
