Ive spent the past few hours researching this and almost all sites use the same post explaining the same stuff. My problem is they give examples but arent that specific (plus everything is old). So i got a psp 2001 and trying to find out which mobo it is, can it be fully hacked... Serial starts with HUO: everybody just mentions HU2 and others, but not this. I dont have the box so i cant go by the identification letter or the boxes serial number Idk what f/w it was shipped with but it has since been updated to 6.60 Any help will be much appreciated and thanks in advance
I have an HU0 that runs Full (not Lite)CFW ,,if I remember right it's a TA85v1 ,,but regardless if you wanted to,I'm pretty sure you can run the lite version for now to use hellcats app to check your mobo revision before loading full cfw if your concerned about bricking it and don't have a pandora here's pspident http://pspslimhacks.com/download/239/
Ok i placed it in the games folder and tried running it but said corrupted. I am completely new to this so please bear with me. I also found everyone saying "place in ms0**** folder but i dont see that anywhere. Do i hafta create the folder manually?
Now i feel stupid lol. Scratch the ms0 remark. But yea, if someone could shed some light as to what i am supposed to do with the pspident folder...
I think there are 3 revisions of the TA85 (v1,v2,v3) yeah man,,with that serial #, and a verified TA85 you should be good to load up Full 6.60 CFW without any worries
