So I tried it and the answer is yes!

So if you are playing Borderlands 2 and get any really nice weapons or items you would like to share with friends as well as keep one for yourself or if you just want to share the wealth
then here is how to do it.

You must not be host as you need to back out of the game
Also make sure you have the weapon saved on your character first

1. Drop the weapons/Items you want to duplicate on the floor
2. Get your friend to pick them up
3. As soon as they pick it up quickly exit the game to your dashbord

This also works with Money! To do this

1. Press and hold B to trade with the friend you wish to duplicate the money with
2. Add all of your money to the trade
3. Get your friend to accept the trade
4. Once the trade completes quickly exit the game to your dashbord

Simple as that :heyy:

because you backed out to your dashbord the game doesn't have chance to save
so when you load the game next you will still have the weapon/cash and so will your friend!

Nice nice I was hoping that would still work there isn't really anyway of them stopping it unless they made it save the second you do anything lol thanks bro I'm online let me know when your on laters
