we've got a whole new team this year, Billy Sharpe, Daniel Ayala, Simon Cox, Adlene Guedioura, Henri Lansbury are all top quality championship players. I've been a Forest season ticket holder for over 7 years and we look better then we did during our playoff seasons. All be it Championship is the toughest league and with the likes of yourselves, Blackpool, Blackburn, Leeds etc it's going to be tough but if we can keep up the way we've been playing first 4 games we'll be defiantly up there. and with new owners im so glad we haven't done what you guys did when you got your rich owners and lumped money on 'average' championship players... £5m for Matt Mills?? :hang3: in regards to Morgan he was much better when he played with Kelvin Wilson but apparently he was smashing Lee Camps mrs which is why he ended up leaving haha but I'd take Sam Hutchinson, Ayala, Collins, Halford over him any day I do think your a good team but we're defiantly one to watch
Haha some good points Sir You do look good thus far but so did Blackpool until they rocked up to the King Power stadium and were shown to be the mediocre side they are On our day I think we can beat anyone but that can be said of a dozen Championship teams I liked Matt Mills but he thought he was better than he was and got sold off which is a shame Wes is looking very good so far and defiantly alot better than the four defenders mentioned but hey that's my opinion i'm glad your alot stronger than last year, that Beckford hat trick against you in the cup was embarrassing let alone the Findlay miss 4 games in and 42 to go, I love this league!!
Yeah it's all about being consistent in this league and I know for certain if we get a couple of long term injuries to key players we'll struggle! We've adopted a very good passing style of football as well which is always amazing to watch but at the end of the day you need to score to win games! I honestly can't call who's going to go up this season but I think we are both due a promotion back to where we belong! Wes is a great defender and a top guy as well, he used to go to my gym in West Bridgford and was always up for a quick chat. Was sorry to see him go and hope he doesnt lift the championship title at the City Ground come the 4th May haha. Does he still make his driving runs forward skilling passed the strikers and midfield haha?
I think his days of driving runs have been stopped by Captain Pearson lol Sol Bamba used to do them before Wes came and he was shipped off, so i'm guessing Pearson has told him to stay back. He's been quality so far and seems a 100% better than last season when he arrived I don't think anyone can call it, my money is on Blackburn as they have been throwing money about and retained a large number of an already decent squad. Eight million for Jordan Rhodes is just scandalous lol What a last game of the season, if we both need to get in the playoffs can you imagine what a game that would be??
Haha tbh he never really played for us when we had a decent midfield that could hold the ball so he got frustrated and tried to take people on lol! £8m is ridiciulous, we got 11 players for less then that! agreed he had an awesome season last year, but end of the day he's unproven at Championship level and when we played Huddersfield away, before he went to Blackburn, he was average at best. Compare that to Swansea's Michu.. £2m 4 goals in 3 games in the Prem. Seems like a steal in comparison
