Ive heard this is possible but dont know how its done. I have a few game of the year editions of games. Like most GOTY they come with all DLCs. I would like to know how to take the DLC from the ISO and install it straight to my HDD instead of burning it to disc. Any ideas?
if you have the iso then you can open it through xbox backup creator. it should already been in 0000000000000000\GameID\00000002\dlc files. copy those to usb and move to xbox.
can you be abit more specific pls? Ive only used XBC to replace defaultXEX folders. Do I open image browser?
for example. borderlands goty edition open xbox backup creator click image tools click image browser if you have dvd click file open dvd, if you have iso click file open image on left hand side you will see a content folder. right click and extract now on your computer you will have a content\0000000000000000\FFED200\FFFFFFFF\DLCFilesHere inject the 0000000000000 including everything below it to your xbox formatted usb using 360revolution load the game and your dlc will be available.
Hmmm the uploader might of uploaded the wrong thing. I hate it when that happens. This was all I could see in the left panel so Im guessing I need to get it from someone else and try again. I was almost sure it was the right one cos of the size of the file. Thanks for tips Mr Caboose. http://screensnapr.com/v/XghxxY.jpg
by the looks of it that is just the game but you can keep looking through those folders and maybe there will be a content folder somewhere in there.
Okay I ran it through ABGX it says game of the year edition so it is the right one. I then checked both data folders you see in the pic I showed before and there are things from the DLC in there. Things is theres two folders that have them and Im not even sure if they are all DLC items. Not sure what to do and I already wasted a disc cos I wanted my ISO mods but the game just freezes everytime I try to load a save or start a new game
