I am aware that I can get banned for modding games saves for multiplayer games such as call of duty and such, but can I get banned for modding single player games such as skyrim or mass effect 2? I was also wondering, If i do mod and there is a console update can it somehow detect that I have modded saves and ultimately ban my account. My xbox is NOT j-tagged by the way. Thanks for all the help!

Yes, there is always a risk for any modding, but with single player games and such, they will not worry about that as much as online J-TAG's and RGH's. ;)

Always a risk with any modding but I have ISO modded gamesave modded online and offline and I have never even had a suspension.

So even if my console has an update, it shouldn't affect my modded saves or increase my chance of being banned?

Like nnn said there is always a slight chance, but with online modding you are vulnerable to a type of ban.

No, most system updates are for the dashboard or fixing a DLC bug/J-TAG's/RGH's
