    X360Key is now compatible with the Lite-On 16D5S (1175)


    The X360Key Team reveal via his facebook page that they manage to decrypt completly the Lite-on 16D5S (1175) Drive’s firmware and that their ODDE (optical disc drive emulator) is now able to emulate . As for the lastest drive support (hitachi 0500 & 0502), you will have to do a RGH on you Xbox Slim in order to grab the cpukey and the Fcrt.bin, so it’s pretty much useless (cause of the ODDE limit next to a RGH) unless you want to make a dual nand console.
    This new feature will be added in their next release, no ETA yet.

    Xk3y working with 16D5S (1175)!
    We have finally managed to completely decrypt the firmware, and will add support for this drive in the next Xk3y firmware release. RGH is still needed to obtain DVD key and fwcrt.bin.​

    RGH still necessary? pointless then but a step in the right direction. hopefully jungleflasher can create or dump fw soon so people don't have to rgh just for the damn key.
