About: Tutorial: ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL SAVE BEFORE USING SE! Credit for the SE goes to Jappi88! This SE works for NTSC and PAL. I appreciate your concern, but i don't really care if I get banned - even not if it's here and especially not over there. I'm using random usernames on other modding sites, except on this one. I just want to support this great site by providing files, which I miss here, so other members don't have to look somewhere else to get their stuff. No offense, but you can't offer files on the net, without expecting them to be distributed. The creators are getting their credit anyway.
that is all well and good but Jappi and all the other devs that spend their valuable time creating these editors (for free I might add when they could force you to pay) don't want them being posted on other sites without their permission. you try working on something for as long as they do and see your work being leeched and posted on other sites without your permission. technically that is called theft. especially when they say they don't want it posted on other sites. and the devs that make these tools are now retaliating, they are making log in forms on all of their editors. not really that big of a deal all you need to do is have an account on the site they posted it on and you can use the tools. Not sure when jappi is gonna start doing this as well but it is most likely happening soon. My sources tell me that most if not all the devs on the site that you got this from (not gonna say it since don't want anyone complaining about advertising or other bs) are going to be making log in forms for all of their tools. I agree that spreading these editors is a good thing but it is very important to respect the wishes of the creators. if you piss them off you won't be seeing anymore tools. Hazard quit his work on Xbox360ToolsInfinity because someone stole his work. I think that lately the staff at that site have gone a little possessive over the Devs on the sites work but if the Devs that make the work agree with them then there is nothing you can do. of course they know very well that people will always leech their work that is why they are taking steps to prevent it. the log in form isn't effective at all though anyone can use it as long as they have an account. even banned users can still use the tools so not really any point to them other than to increase members.
Well XPGS work gets distributed over there, as long as credits given i dont see any issues here. After all we are all grown ups arent we?
end of the day who cares what site its on and if any Haven peeps wanna kick off about this bein uploaded ask yourselfs this....how many hundreds of sites you think this has been leeched to after it hit ISO site? lol waits for the usual Pissing Contest from certain places to start bear this in mind tho...this time i WILL ban your asses if it turns into a pissing contest @Zack nice 1 for the upload m8
Share what you like theres no rule here about that, if you share something from another site be sure to give the appropriate credits to the author since they take the time to make mods, tools etc for the community.
On the originally site where this tool has been offered, it is still VIP, which I am not. Google Search brought me to iso where it has has been leaked for the mass and after I read Jappi's thankful post there for giving him credit I assumed, that there's no need for permission. Well, if he'd explicitly mentioned in his upload post, that he doesn't want his work to be distributed somwhere else, of course I would have uploaded it anywhere and just kept it for myself. (im still learning this language, hope this sentence is correct. your're getting the point anyway) I mean we all are a community, not just as gamers, but also as modders, devs, cheaters etc. As long as the creators are getting their credits and don't forbid to spread their stuff, I don't see any problems. On the other side, the rules of this page to ask devs for permission must be followed...
