File Name: Unreal Engine Easy Iso Editor File Submitter: Bullet File Submitted: 12 Aug 2012 File Updated: 12 Aug 2012 File Category: Xbox360 Modding Tools This tool will allow you to mod Epic games coalesced_int.bin Ok first we will start by actually modding the Coalesced_INT.bin its located in StormGameCookedXenon open up your Coalesced_INT.bin with gearsofwareditor.exe Now it will ask for your Xbox360TOC.txt (located in the StormGame folder) Do all of your editing in the nice GUI instead of manually hex editing everything. After your done hit save in gearsofwareditor.exe and open Coalesced_INT.bin in a hex editor and get the MD5 checksum (HxD has this option under Analysis) Now open your Xbox360TOC.txt and replace the checksum under the words Coalesced_INT.bin and save then close Now we have to decompress and decrypt the Default.xex using xextool (or any gui variation) the command for xextool is xextool.exe -c /u -e /u default.xex Get the Sha-1 checksum from Coalesced_INT.bin using your hex editor (same as before) Finally we open default.xex in our hex editor and search for Coalesced_INT.bin and replace the SHA-1 checksum (becareful to not replace the period after Coalesced_INT.bin) and save! your done! your file should be ready to run. Used this in the past Bullet really cool tool, learnt a lot from it I prefer hex editing but it's still a great tool
No only the coal.bin and toc will allow it to be an ISO mod, if it has xex checksums (SHA-1) to fix then it's Jtag/RGH mods only as we can't resign the xex after modding.
I know there are a lot of unreal games out there. How can I tell if it has a checksum or not? I don't have a JTAG/RGH so I would have to burn to see if a mod worked.
you would grab the sha-1 off of your coal and after you uncompress and decrypt your default.xex do a search for the sha-1 in hex. if there is 1 9/10 it's going to be jtag/rgh only. may work on iso because sometimes the check is broken but it will usually be patched with a day 1 TU.
only if there is no sha-1 in the default.xex then yes it will work for iso mod. If there is sha-1 check then no.
Is there a reason why some int files will open and others won't? Trying to mod spec ops and it puts an error up when I try to open the file.
