How Do I Flash A Phillips DVD Drive? Do I Need To Solder?

 

No solder just a compatible PC to do it cheap or a few tools if not.

Plug your 360 drive into the motherboard inside your pc via sata. If you have a laptop might as well forget it with out additional hardware.

Well then to use that computer you would need to purchase a x360usb and if you got one of those you could then flash your drive from any computer.

 

You'd need the x360usb to do it from a laptop.

 

guess i cant flash it then -_- i don't even know who i could borrow one off of lol

 

Good luck with it. Not all desktops that are sata will be capable of doing it.

 

...also when you say "Philips" is it a BenQ or LiteOn? A LiteOn will need a probe III.

Get someone to do it for you if your going to have trouble.

most mobo's with an Nvidia chipset will work
