It is my opinion that the original Xbox is an old school gamers dream machine. Once you've done the work. Fan mod, Hard drive upgrade, dash replacement, ETC. You load that beast with every type of emulator you can find. You've got MAME,Every Nintendo system up to N64, Every Sega console up to 32X, Atari, Playstation one. I mean the list is huge. I love my Jtag but when I want to veg out and play some classics The old box is the way to go. If you need any files I have most of them, even some of the harder to get stuff. Just let me know.

Well I will try by getting more tutorials and the like posted. The original xbox beyond emulators when softmodded can make a beast of an entertainment system. A friend who taught me what I know doesn't even have TV service he just uses a softmodded xbox networked with the 4 computers in his house to play movies,tv shows and music. Also Tulvert I wouldn't mind getting the files to turn one of my softmodded consoles into a debug console. With mine I have it networked to a spare PC tower with 2 Terabyte hdd space filled with emulators,games,apps etc. It makes it real nice to just browse and boot up.
Switching your Xbox to a debug console requires writing to the kernel on your Xbox. Easiest way is TSOP flash or modchip. If you need them however I do have the files for writing to your kernel using raincoat and I can write you a tut on what points to solder in your Xbox.
