Will there ever be Emerald tools in Minecraft?

emerald blocks are in the new update.As rare as diamonds pretty much.
Can be used to trade with villagers for certain items.Also u can use ender storage boxes(Lets u store an item in 1 box which can be seen in another box anywhere in the world
and trip wire which can set off triggers
