I heard that in an xbox update at the end of this year, microsoft will be doing rewards for gamerscore in exchange for microsoft points, it'll be something ridiculous like 50k gamerscore for 800 Microsoft points but still

Since you are US based do the bing rewards program. you can ear about 18 or so points a day if not more and once you get 500 you can trade them in for 400 mspoints. slow but it's free.

If you get enough point for lets say a 400 point card, you can either get it in mail, or Email.
To get in email you need to be a bronze member, and to be a bronze member you need to order atleast 1 thing (can cost only like 10 points) to your address..
