I created this thread for members to find awesome seeds to use on the Xbox version of Minecraft. Also this is a place for members to share their favorite seeds. What is a seed? A seed is a string of characters used to provide a starting point for the terrain generation algorithm when creating a new world. Using the same seed to generate two separate worlds will generate the same terrain consistently even on different consoles. This means that seeds can be shared between players to generate the same world between them. However, the player's initial spawn point will be random. List of good seeds to use on Minecraft Xbox 360 version. All have been tested. Viking - Viking = small sandy island spawn near arctic/snow Biome with a cool waterfall nearby, the one major con is that there seems to be a large number of creepers out and about on this map. Artomix- jungly islands Dead Mau5 - Contains multiple things one of them being a little Skeleton Dungeon with Moss Stone, x3 Saddles, x6 Iron, x3 Buckets and x3 Redstone. There is also flying mountains with multiple waterfalls. 10110101 - giant over hang ceiling thingy just walk straight from spawn and you'll see it in the air. dungeon with 2 chests under overhang and you'll see it right away. xbox360 - has a nice island structure with big cannons with waterfalls. 404 - A gravel beach near the spawn, you break one block and go under and you'll find useful resources. Fight Fight Fight! - Large forest with large cave system ice tastes better melted - surprise 888 - When you spawn climb over the nearest mountain (Some kind of stone block stairs in it) in the water and look behind you and you see a dungeon with a chest. In that chest is a saddle. worstseedever - at the spawn you will see some sand falling, go break the two random blocks in it and you will find a monster spawner, and a chest that has lots of stuff.There is also a cave system in there with diamonds and redstone and every other mineral you want. pickaxe heaven - just about 3/4 of the map is one land mass. Amazing mountains and forests. The land mass is located just east of center and heads all the way south and almost all the way north. Wave Race 64 - This seed contains huge mountains that extend high into the clouds. There are also flat rock faces and deep caverns making it ideal for mining. Ausm - If you are looking for a winter world this seed creates a flat snowy region with a large tundra forest and even contains a surface lava lake. Diamonds, diamonds everywhere! - This seed contains a massive floating mountain above a surface zombie dungeon near the spawn area. The more you move away from the location you'll find other features including a HUGE lava flow. Flynn13751 - An all ice map with a massive continent and some amazing mountain views. Theregon - Another massive continent. This time, it's all forest with mountains. GREEN and beautiful. Yellowtail Kingfish - very cool seed. You will probably spawn in ocean with nothing exciting around, but head to bottom half of the map for epic landscape. -77+1001 - there is a massive gully area mountains and overhangs are prominent throughout throughout the whole map. asdf - This seed spawns you in a "normal" world. Even if you travel away from the spawn, it still looks like a normal world, but then you come to the mountain range which is quite far from the spawn point. AndroidAR - Mainly a snow map with minor parts being covered in sand/grass. It is generally flat in the regions that connect gigantic step-like mountains that extend into the clouds. Decent resources and fun to make flat projects on. Gargamel - One of the most unique seeds out there. Full of everything special in minecraft. Great mountains, awesome waterfalls, etc. Quesadila - a good seed, there are 2 spawners on the surface (zombie + skeleton) so you dont have to worry about getting bonemeal and stuff. There are also many mountains around. 797433097465841216 - Here is a seed to demo the new snapshot 12w21b. LandOfLIB - Most of the map is covered with snow and massive mountains. Greenery and some desert along the edges of the map.So far I have found pumpkins and sugar..then fell into a hole a bit north west of my marker and found water and lava near by each other. intothevoid - overhangs are plentiful, and so far the spawn location is just south of a double fronted void. 10110101 - Huge Archways and a dungeon with 2 chests under the overhang. BIG - It was 90% ice/snow/ocean. All four corners have small non-icy areas. The only areas that even had dry trees were in the southwest and southeast corners... Also much of the ice had dirt or sand beneath it if you need that as well. 777 - a lot of resources and floating islands, also beutiful landscape with cool trees Eden - A combination of gentle, mild terrain with some nice mountains and at least one very impressive cave system. 420 - a great map seed. It has a lot of variety. There are mountains, forests, ice lakes, deep water, and beaches...all in a crescent-like shape with a massive body of water in the middle. Sadly, no pot. Wolf - If you were looking for a frozen wasteland for a Minecraft world, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m not even going to say anything, just look. DEATH - is a pretty good seed its all cliffs and valleys with very large mountains Ancient Aliens - Nice caves with those slime enemy's by the bedrock and a small island in the southwest of the map with two lavafalls. Octagona - full of cacti and sand as far as I can tell with some plains and plenty of sand and rock over hangs, not far from from where you should spawn is a sand and grass bridge up on one the hills Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - starts you on the edge of a wide area of sand and the edge of a densely wooded area. worldofminecraft - tall mountain and lots of gravel on the surface, with a few easy located pumpkins, lots of deep holes. Dungeons & Dragons - lots of caves/underground dungeons, islands great for survival play on normal and hard with a little terra-forming, water, beautiful scenery. icba - The world is great, It has floating mountains and decent size flat lands. Also on this map is a golden apple. For instructions on how to find the apple, check the spoiler. sooooo bored - This map is full of beautiful mountains. longliveherobrine - A snowy/grassland/desert area where HeroBrine is supposed to be sighted the most . 8700829340959843130 - Spawns a massive crater, hard to miss, but there is iron, coal and gold exposed. Multiple paths/ tunnels in this cave. DiAmOnDs_are_FOREVER - is an amazing seed, it has awesome mountain ranges as well as some sweet caves, there are some floating mountains that have some cool underpasses. Hell Fire - spawns you in a completely snowy map (most is snowy) if I remember correctly, right from the spawn you can see tons of pumpkins, though I could be wrong this may be in the next seed I have. Dungeon - Has plenty of premade caves as well as a potential supply of pumpkins, but as I stated it may be in the previous seed Heaven - Has tons of high mountains and waterfalls, the mountains reach the clouds, it's actually really pretty. monkey - you'll get spawned in a desert area with lots of cacti. AndrewIsGREAT - pawns you in a heavily forested area near a wild fire. About 3/4 of the map is one large land mass. There are large forests spread out across the map, several HUGE overpasses and impressive land formations. Large desert out to the western side of the map, at least 2 large cave systems, many waterfalls and few lava flows. 12+ stacks of clay found, possibly more. Several floating islands, ikilledherobrine - Great mountains and wooded areas
