Ok as I have had my box from evo for a week now I want to start burning me some games plus I am also going to be buying an x360usb pro v2 so I can start doing some flashing services in my local area and peeps are gonna want games too.

So anyway I was on about all the stuff I need the other day and people were telling me how stupidly over priced ihas drives have got now so I was told to check out a list of cross flashable (cheaper) ones that had been posted here http://www.xpgamesav...__fromsearch__1

Right so I just checked out the list and as u can see there it say's Plextor (not sure if that means a range of plextors or just the following) and the PX-L890SA. At the moment the current drive I have in my pc is a PX-870A and it is a beast of a drive so if I can cross flash it then it would be great.

So yea, my question is, is a PX-870A cross flashable? It looks exactly the same as the L890SA but their must be a few small differences!

Backup your firmware and give it a go. See if it works. ;)

It would save alot of time buying a ihas124b burner in the future Dave as its much easier and more guaranteed ;)

Hope you get the cross flashing sorted anyway mate ;)

not sure if it can be crossflashed.
maybe give it a try and check.

There is different revisions to ihas and the crossflashable drivers, there is chipsets A, B and Y. only the B chipsets work, even on the ihas*24.

hope your is one of the crossflashable ones.
