How to know if your burner can burn dual layer?

    wow thanks to who ever deleted my original.

    Anyways anyway to tell if your Burner can burn dual layer?

    You can know is it says "Multi-Burner on it or DL+

    Most laptops will burn them now but your better with an iHas.

    idk where to look for that, can you specify where that would be. I am using a laptop tho lol or check if mine does

    It's 100% a DL burner you have but that will only do for XDG2 format Xbox 360 back-ups a LiteOn iHas can be used externally to burn XGD3 format Xbox 360 games via a laptop.

    im very new to this, can you explain what is the difference? I am trying to mod left 4 dead 2 and GTA IV/EFLC(both). Is it possible to burn those?(online)

    Yea you can use your laptop for both of them but newer games will need a special drive.

    Thank you very much for helping, im getting my Dual layer DVD+R today to mod left 4 dead 2 and GTA IV. Just was confirming that I can use these.

    they dont need special burner.just buy a dl burner n to play ur games online u gotta have the lates software on ur drive lt3.0 and to burn ur games u gotta do the Topology way.

    You need a special burner for XGD3 unless you truncate but that is a high risk of console ban.

    no u dont get banned i been online for the longest k dont tell me im doind something wrong here.c4 only sells his drives on the side to make a lil bit of money more i do agree on buying it its only $20
    but dl burner u can buy it any electronic store.
    to patch ut games with truncated works for online i do mods for xbox 360 non of my customers or myself been online from the begining of xbox 360 realesed havent been banned or any problems.

    but this is xpgs page they always know whats right try to help ill delete my post.

    There is a safe and more error free way with a special DVD burner and a not safe and very risky way (your way) I would like our members to be informed of the best and safest way to burn games. You can do what you like but please don't try to misinform our members.
