You need grass blocks in front of the cages

 

I did but can it be dirt or does it have to change to grass?

ive not built a pig spawner before m8 you shouldnt need to have so many spawners aswell try taiking the torches away they might be stopping them are you sure there not mob spawners??? put onto normal dificulty and check

 

I have DaVyZz added and been on his world.....mine is just like his, except his works

 

ive been waiting till they add the pistons so i can build proper spawn traps that can be turned off and on i cant see why it wouldnt be working ask davvy hes good with the hole minecraft thing i need to get back into it again

as others have said, you need the spawner placed onto grass, it will not work if placed on dirt,
the area has to be very well lit, i recommend glowstone
it has to have a 2 space difference between the spawner and anything else (except other spawners)
