most redstone traps are terrible..

98% of the brilliant minecraft traps are piston related.. may aswell wait for the update.. which i have no idea when that will be released..

 

Hey, redstone will do for now though, even though pistons are better, you still have redstone involved with those traps somewhere in line

 

my favorite is the diamond trap.. redstone is involved.. but without sticky pistons the trap can not work.. for obvious reasons

 

I CAN NOT WAIT until Pistons and Sticky Pistons come out..... :|
