A lot of people seem to be having a couple issues when modding Minecraft for xbox 360. These errors are easily fixed dont worry! So before posting yet another ... i cant get minecraft modded topic ... READ ON! USB 1. Put items into your inventory and then in-game then save and exit 2. Extract your save from your USB 3. Open your save into the Editor 4. Mod what you want and Save 5. Rehash/Resign your save and put your save back on your USB 6. I was using the stand alone editor and was getting string errors for the 1st time, but then I tried this version attached to the 360-rev program and it appears to be working again.
The standalone version isnt the same as the one in 360Revolution. 360Revolution Minecraft editor has had many bug fixes and some alterations.
mine Freeze at the loading screen thats when i no its fuc* up. lol but always have a copy of it on the laptop.
Ok, so I edited my save and it worked, until I look in my inventory. It freezes and so I open the program back up to troubleshoot, and I get KVM bin error, when i try to save, I get the box with red words and such... ALL I WANT IT CLAY and now i can't even play the world I have put more than 15+Hours in. Please message me what to do, I will pay 5.00$ paypalm
You should ALAWAYS backup a file you're modding. Modding has a high chance of freezing, corrupting and just downright failing. As for your current problem try putting less on the save.
I don't know. I've never modded Minecraft so I'd say wait until someone comes on who knows what they're talking about.
Update I fixed it.. I somehow put air in my inventory, so every times opened it it woul freeze Fix: set everything to a single material by scrolling down, hilight. The (block) and change it
I am trying to use the stand alone version. I can't get 360 revolution to run at all, which I haven't gotten any help with in my topic. I have followed the steps exactly for the minecraft editor, I have my inv filled with dirt. Any save I try to use after extracting it won't be read. The program just says "No file". I asked for help on another board, but had no help. This is getting a bit frustrating. I really just want some clay and cocoa beans, and maybe something else that you can't normally have. I can't use the stand alone program or 360revolution. Maybe some mysterious force doesn't want me messing with my game lol.
Firstly, everything is working fine for me now, after many headaches. Secondly, the video has been taken down for some kind of violation. I never got to see it, so I have no idea what it could have been. Thirdly, for anyone having the problem where you put the items in your inventory, but they don't show up in the game and/or when you go to add items and there aren't many slots available, the issue can be from anyone else you had play in your world. The items may have been put into their inventory. Have your friends come back into the game and check their inventories for you. My issue was that I hooked up a second controller and signed on under a second account I had made before in order to do the first dispenser dupe glitch. When I went to mod my save I thought it was odd that I only had around 10 slots to fill, and that the items listed there already weren't what I put in to fill up each slot. I went crazy trying to figure this out. I tried watching the video here, but it was already taken down. I tried editing the save again, but it always still had the clay I added with the mod to start with. I thought maybe I misunderstood something so I started checking all of my chests in the world, but I have so many all over. I starting reading all the help threads on here looking for something similar. I finally found something that made me check my other account's inventory, and it was there. I tried different things to make it switch to my main account's inventory when I edited the save, but nothing worked. Anyway, maybe this will help the next person. If no one has played in your world and there still aren't as many slots o fill in the editor as there should be, don't forget to have your inventory filled up with anything (I use cobblestone or dirt) and then the problem should be fixed. If anyone has a similar issue and can't follow what I said, feel free to PM me and i'll help if I can.
i did the minecraft mod and i heard that the update stopped/patched the mod. am i right? is there any other way to mod it??
i modded my gamesave but when i went to save it i got a could not find a part of the path error something to do with TEMPStorage folder anyone got a fix for this? cause its just loading normal gamesave not the changed one. i got it to work it turned out 350rev was not showing the other save as i had 2 copies of the same world tell i opened a diff program it showed the copy i removed it an all was good
how come when i get more than like 2 other people in my game, then try to mod the save, it shows crap in some of my chests as someones inventory? like, i can mod my inventory, and 1 other players inventory, but when more than that joins it messes up? hard to explain... but i dont know how to fix it so i can see only mine and 1 friends inventory instead of this random crap in chests. also, i dont think it works when i try to change whats in the chests...
i would say that becouse you cant have those types of things yet until the game is updated, so its corrupting ur file?
im not too sure but will some items that arent released in the current version make it freeze or crash im just wondering...
everything in the game right now (mob spawners, bedrock) can be added but be weary as they could cause a crash.. pistons.. melons etc etc.. (the obvious things) will corrupt your save instantly.
