I apologize in adavance if this is the wrong section.. I'm new to these forums, This is literally my first post. What im wondering is if its safe to Gamesave while online? For example using a modded fallout 3 save which gives you tons of overpowered gear + increased stats. is something like this going to be detected or will i be okay aslong as my achievements are in order? I intend to use gamesaves for simple mop ups of achievements i don't really care to bother with. Most recent example being Rage's "Just a flesh wound" achievement. I'm assuming that this is the best way to remain undetected... But is it safe to do while signed in to LIVE? Or should i be doing this offline? Reason i ask is because i prefer to have my achievements time stamped to look as legit as possible. Also... Any tips people have to offer in avoiding being detected are appreciated. As i said i just started Game Saving and i'm just looking for some good advice from experienced Savers.
All you have to mainly watch for is the achievements popping in the wrong order but that's only really punished by a gamer score reset (sometimes).
Use common sense and you will be safe on live. What you need to remember is that all cheating is against XBL terms of use, so its always risky right! However that been said certain mods are more high risk than others, for example... if you are going to play MW3 for 5 minutes and then glitch 15th prestige, you run a probable chance of being flagged. Game saving is fine for the most part, as long as you do little and often. Dont use load and pop saves! Try to keep your achivement order looking as legit as possible by getting them in order. Do this by using savesets constructed for gaining certain achievements. Moping up stubborn cheevos is the way to go.....
I used a Load and pop earlier but it was only for 2 achievements (Each save popped only a few achieve's) They were minigame related and actually obtained after i had completed a full playthrough of the game. Shouldn't be too much of a risk for that right? (2 Achieve's 30G total)
