i tried to use my @me.com address, and no confirmation email at 17 days, despite clicking resend several times. just changed to an old @GMAIL and worked instantly... very odd. hopefully now i've confirmed, I can actually change to an email I haven't decommissioned not game to try that just yet. oh well, for now, hello all
