[Tutorial] How To Mod Coalsced.bin Files newbies Guide :O

open your coalsced.bin file in hex editor

do a hex search for these and change as ya want:



41 00 6D 00 6D 00 6F 00
thats ammo


in hex so hex search in your coalfile for that
press ctrl + f and it will open search for you

change data type to hex values

paste in

41 00 6D 00 6D 00 6F 00

thats ammo in hex

scroll thru change what ya want




now search for 68 00 65 00 61 00 6C 00 74 00 68 in hex thats health in hex

change what ya want



now search for

72 00 65 00 77 00 61 00 72 00 64 00

that says rewards change them values as ya want




now lets look for player in hex
copy n paste this

70 00 6C 00 61 00 79 00 65 00 72 00

thats player in hex seek your player values and edit


once edited save file but MAKE SURE THE FILESEZE STAYS THE SAME AS ORIGINAL OR IT BREAKS THE GAME FILE AND WONT BOOT For ISO MODS


allways remember if you have fucked 1 code up just press CTRL and the Z button together that will roll 1 edit back allways usefull
when you may have fucked a file up

/allways look out for 2E bytes in hex if ya see 1 DO NOT overwrite it

/as you will see sometimes in these files in hex it will show as 30 00 2E 00 30 translates to 0.0 in coal files
/stay away from 2E in hex
/
/once your file is modded just close hxd and leave the .bak file alone
/(never touch that file just delete the .bak in the file and its ya original)

Is there a tut for xex files as I've notice sometimes you need to mod those as well

i search xbox_type for the buttons and switch the commands for things i don't use.

 

That's kinda hard it has a Fecal Leaking ton of code.

 

I see just that dmc collection consist only of xex files for each game and I wanna know if i can make a modded iso for it

 

that's a trainer not a modded xex and that's even harder you need a 'tag and etc.

 

Ok Kool thanks for the info trainer don't work on Iso so there is no point me trying

 

Enigma sorry to call you out but I seek your help I was planning to check and if possible mod Vanquish ISO but this is the second game I've come across that only has default.xex, If i post the link to the default.xex do the think you let me know if there any chance of a God Mode or, and infinite bullets?
