I lost my controller for my old 360, so I've had to persuade my sister to part with hers. But yes, I too have dug out the old console. Any tips for not having the disk tray stick on an Elite model? These days I have to attack the bloody thing with a spoon.
I just did the same and for some reason every single modtool and gamesave is giving me issues. Hope i can figure it all out and get to modding my games again. Did the scene just die?
Try alchohol and a qtip to clean the trey then use a pair of tweezers to carefully remove the rubber band in the trey and clean it then clean the pulley the rubber band attaches to. Then carefully put rubber band back in. Some vids on youtube about it
I do the same, while I never really put it away - too lazy to do that - it can be unused for months, or maybe even a year and then i decide I want to play same old title again. Remastered HALO is Like its attached to a rubberband and always bounces back I just wish HALO 2 were available for the 360 as well! (or did i miss anything?)
Halo 2 on the 360 would be a dream. Oh well at least I have MCC. (Apparently the original Halo 2 is backwards compatible on the 360, so if you have the original disc, maybe give it a try? )
