Description of Request: I would like to have a tool that can fix the Checksum of the EA Game Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005). I tried a lot of EA resigners but I did'nt found any that works with that particular game.

360Revolution already has a NFS Most Wanted editor that fixes the checksum.

Description of Request: Now that I know that 360revolution has the checksum fixer of NFS Most Wanted (it is not working yet, so I could'nt try it), I would like to know if there can be a Checksum Fixer for the hex edition at NFS Carbon. The EA Resigners I found have never worked with that game in particular and it would be amazing to be able to hex edit that game too. MW and Carbon are the only EA games I know that savegame resigners cannot fix.

No worries. We are still working on the platform migration/login issue along with the platform dev.

Well, to be clear, it isn't a checksum fixer that we have in 360Revolution for NFS MW. 360Revolution has a NFS MW save editor that has coding written into it to fix the checksum while users save their modifications to their save. We've done this so users wouldn't need to hex edit and fix the checksum themselves. It'll be very unlikely that we'll add a "checksum fixer" to 360Revolution for that very reason. Instead we'll add a full-featured save editor that will also fix the checksum. Users can also request additional features to existing editors.

That said, for save editor requests we request users to include a save of the requested game along with the stats (in case one of us does not have the game and we could still take a crack at it).

I'll see if I still have my NFS Carbon and project file.

Soon I'll upload to the XPG forums a gamesave of NFS Carbon with the stats of money and police heat levels of the cars detailed to help at the research of the modding of that game.

PD: I've been playing and doing research of NFS Carbon since the release in 2006. If I can contribute with data from my experience in the hex edition in PC version, a list of unlockable stuff, or some other things, I'll be more than pleased to help. I am very interested in the modifications you can be able to do for the NFS Carbon XBOX 360 version, and I think any help is little.

 

No worries. I believe I still have it installed on one of my Externals so that shouldn't be necessary, but I'll double-check. We just typically require a save of the requested game just in case one of us didn't have the game and we could attempt to take a crack at it.

I'm not sure if the offsets will be the same as the PC version (most cases for some games they are but you never know), that may be useful if it is, I'll keep you posted. Thanks for offering your usefulness.

I'd recommend to read the first post of this thread.. This is not Horizon, this is Xbox360 Revolution Tool Request, you can make a specific request like is said by member who posted this thread. And then your request will be made.. Try to read first before posting, and don't spam.
