How early can you mod ME2?

    Hey guy's i have been trying to mod ME2 with the Gibbed SE. The save i am using is right at the start of the game when i wake up in the med bay and it tells me to get my pistol from the locker.

    I am modding the .xbsav and saving, then R/R, when i load up my save i am still a level 2.
    I opened my save back up in Gibbed SE and the stats i edited were still edited, but not taking effect in the game.

    So all i can think of it is too early in the game for them to take effect?


    Any confirmation would be awesome!

    I modded mine right after i got the pistol and it worked

    Could you have any idea as to why mine isn't working?
    I modded the save before i picked up the pistol.

    Also i have 3 .xbsav's:

    chaptersave
    autosave
    save_000

    I am modding Save_000

    Try to mod after you get the pistol and use autosave .. You playing on retail console ?

    I was able to successfully mod it after i got the pistol!

    Yes it's a retail 360
