Gamesharing has taken the Xbox scene by storm, since there is no firmware mods for Xbox One, this method of getting free games has become very popular.
This is a great method of getting games that you want, but can't afford, however it does attract scammers. This tutorial will show you how to get games for free on Xbox One, but safely!

How To Gameshare On Xbox One Safely:


Before gamesharing always ask for proof they own the games you want.

WARNING: Anyone can fake having games!

Im first going to show you how someone can easily scam you.

Now, Look how easily a scammer can say they own any game on the Xbox Marketplace...



I do not own Halo 5, and here it is, right there on my dashboard.
How?
All I needed to do is go to the marketplace, type in the game name, then say "Pin to home"
Here's what happens when I click on the game.



This is why you ask someone to click on the game first.
OR
Go to their games and apps.
HOWEVER
You still need to ask the desired person to click on the game. I say this, because any game that has a trial/game preview, will look exactly like the game.
For example: I do not own destiny (As you can see above) but, if I install the trial of it, this is what it looks like.



*I did not feel like waiting through the whole trial installation process*
NOTE: The game WILL ALSO show up under the "Ready to install" tab of their games and apps selection

Only certain games on the Xbox store allow you to download a trial.
Destiny is one of them games. Here is where the "Install trial" button is located when on a game on the Xbox Store:

Download your friends account that has the game you want. ( They MUST Trust you and give permission )

When signed in as them, go to settings - My home xbox - Make this my home xbox

Sign back in as your own account

Go to 'My Games And Apps' and their games should be available to download!

Once downloaded, your friend can then change his xbox back to his home xbox.

Ask a potential gameshare partner to click on the game and open it, get a screenshot of the games you can see installed that you really want. It is simple but effective and will prevent you getting scammed. - Tut by WwGSkuLLz

When signed into their account, go to settings / My home xbox / Make this my home xbox

Now sign back into your own account

Go to 'My Games And Apps' and their games should be available to download

Once downloaded, your gameshare partner can then change their Xbox back to his home Xbox.
