Microsoft has announced that the game Age of Empires II: HD Edition will get a new expansion pack this year.

The company announced that the team who worked on the previous expansion The Forgotten is the one who will work on this new expansion.

It is noteworthy that version of Age of Empires II: HD Edition is Remake issued in 2011 for the game Age of Empires, which were issued in 1999.

one of the developers at Microsoft on the page for the game on the site Steam said: "Forgotten Empires package added a lot to the game, and contributed to the development, and we are happy to say that we will work with the team to offer a new package this year."
