Ubisoft has released a new The Division video interview recorded at E3 in June.

The video features game director Ryan Barnard discussing the title's open-world RPG gameplay, mid-crisis setting and characters, among other features.

The online shooter takes place in New York following the release of a devastating manmade virus, with players stepping into the boots of agents from The Division, a classified unit fighting to prevent the collapse of society.

In May, Ubisoft delayed The Division from its original 2014 launch window to 2015.

Shortly afterwards, an alleged development source claimed the publisher's new plan to release the PC, PS4 and Xbox One game in autumn 2015 was "a bit optimistic".
