This video by FishTuxedo shows the rise and fall of the Kinect motion controller.

It was first announced in 2009 and met its demise in 2014 following a series of U-turns associated with the Xbox One.

Microsoft maintain that the Kinect will remain an integral part of the next gen console even though they have been pressured into releasing a Dis-Kinected version of the console which thanks to not having the motion controller allows retailers to sell the Xbox One at almost $100 less...
