Ever wondered what the original BioShock would look like if it had been created using Epic's next-gen Unreal Engine 4? Wonder no more, because someone has gone ahead and done it, recreating a small portion of Rapture using the game's original assets.

You'll notice high-resolution textures, improved lighting and additional detail, boosting the level of decay and rust that's crept into the doomed city over the years. There's even a couple of shiny UE4 Big Daddies to check out in the video. It's all mighty impressive.

It almost makes you long for a remake of the original BioShock. Take a look at BioShock recreated using Unreal Engine 4 below, courtesy of YouTube user noodlespagoodle.
