Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order, in which practically nobody is shot in the face. You do get laughed at by a scary Nazi lady, though. Power down those adrenal glands and give it a watch.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is the first multiplatform shooter (well, the first one to release on non-Xbox consoles) to run at 1080p in 60 frames a second on Xbox One. Log went to see it this spring, and was very pleasantly surprised - as tired as the Wolfenstein franchise now seems, and as familiar as The New Order's corridor tactics undoubtedly are, there's plenty of humour and finesse at work.

If nothing else, pre-ordering the game unlocks access to the DOOM 4 beta. That Bethesda felt compelled to make such an offer before we'd even laid eyes on the new DOOM is suspicious - somehow, I don't think The New Order has broken any pre-order records just yet. Still, let's err on the optimistic side. Question for the thread: which of the cards would you have picked?

Wolfenstein: The New Order hits Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 20th, 22nd and 23rd May in North America, Australia and Europe.
