How to share games on Xbox One!

Hey guys so i tried this with my cousin and it worked just fine

What you need to do:

1 - Get your friends info and log his/hers account on your xbox
2 - Go to settings -> My Home Xbox and set his gamertag as Home Xbox
3 - Have your friend do the same with your account on his/hers Xbox One

Now you can access any game/dlc on your home xbox(that your friend will be using) and the console you are currently logged in!!

What games do you have ?

 

cool how much of the game do you get to use, try, share what ever
And dlc as well that's good? didn't think you could share that sounds good

 

I bought Fifa and Ryse and my cousin got Dead Rising 3 and Ghosts .. and we also share all dlc .. whatever i buy shows up on his console (games & apps, it just says ready to install) and vice versa .. its pretty cool

i wouldn't mind letting you get ryse but I think to do that you would need to have my xbox as your home xbox and my cousin already did that

 

I got ya, I haven't played around with the sharing aspect of the console yet, makes sense it would be restricted like that.

NO.. when you buy something it clearly says you can play it on your home console and any other console when you log in to your profile

don't they have to be on your friends list for over 30 days and do you get to use the whole game and dlc?
I thought there was restrictions on it as it would be a bit silly of M$ to say allow me not to have to buy BF4 as say you have it and I can play it all?, what about achievemenst and stuff, does it work like a "DEMO"?

no it's a full game .. We both play the games at the same time and get achievements

 

Does this work say if a freind buys the game disc based? If i have my xbox set to his home xbox will i be able to get the digital version of a disc based game he bought?

 

Lol no home sharing is the same as license transfer, except without the delay of a couple months....
