[Tutorial] How to mod Possessed Weapons - Darksiders 2

Heres a quick tutorial on how to mod the possessed weapons on darksiders 2 ..

First you'll want to change the name of the weapon, to do that in game go to the desired weapon and press A, then ou will see the option to change name! Save your game after!

Now you will want to copy your save to your computer, and then open it using 360rev, horizon or any other tool you want!

Go to the contents tab and extract dssave#.sav file from within your dssave#.sav file;

Now open hex workshop or any other hex program you prefer, and open the dssave# you extracted, and search for your weapons name!

After finding it look for 01 04 01(you need the first one after the name of the weapon);

Now right after that(01 04 01) you will find 0000, change the 0000 to FFFF!

Save your work and replaced the dssave# inside the main save, rehash & resign and put back on your MU or HDD!

And voilà your weapon will now do over 50k damage!!

Yea it works its really good, I just use it to get past hard stages, is there any way of making the money greater or points that would be a +

well thats because you mod what you weren't supposed to! I modded my save over 5 times and other people also confirmed it worked

 

i understand what it is that im doing, but for some reason it didnt save correctly. i mod 1a or 1b?
isnt one a autosave. so then do i mod both?

 

B ... you should never mod autosaves

I don't see any 01 04 01 after the name of my weapon, would mine be 01 18 01 possibly?

 

all my weapons were 01 04 01 .. but i guess it wont hurt to try 01 18 01

 

mines 11lines down....
