Loadiine by developer Golden45 is the first backup loader for Wii-U. It loads backups from your sd card. It needs a version 5.3.2 Wii-U and Super Smash Bros for Wii-U disc right now.
After the webkit exploit for 5.3.2 Wii-U surfaced, all the fun stuff for Wii-U began. Game hacking/modding, Virtual Console injecting, RAM manipulation and so on. Unavoidably, a backup loader called Loadiine has been released. Right now Loadiine needs a 5.3.2 Wii-U (it MIGHT be backported to previous firmwares) and a Super Smash Bros disc. Compatibility isn’t great at the moment, but some big games like Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate work. The compatibility will probably be much better in following days/weeks.

If your Wii-U is below 5.3.2, you can wait for Loadiine to support your firmware (no guarantee) or you can update to 5.3.2 via disc. Yoshi’s Wooly World and Splatoon contain 5.3.2 firmware update for offline updating. Double check before updating though as you never know there is a new disc print with higher firmware version.
If your Wii-U is above 5.3.2, unfortunately there is nothing to do for now except for waiting. I hate to say that, but we told you not to update to 5.4.0. Still, there are some private webkit exploits including a kernel exploit for higher firmwares, so who knows, they might be public soon.
