1st thing first: I can't find my usb. I've read a thread (http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/52490-360revolution-wont-find-my-usb-device/) already about somebody else not being able to find their USB and I tried the steps given, but they didn't work, so I am hoping for a better steps list. rly: -_- 2nd thing: I wanted 360Revolution because it looked somewhat easy to use in the image, but when i downloaded it, it didn't look anything like what I had expected it to look like, I thought it would be easier to use than it is but it really isn't. :fail:
That is because in that image the user is using a much older version of 360Revolution. Make sure no programs are open that search for you USB Drive, and be sure to run as admin.
Plus it is really really easy to use , maybe be more specific what features your having trouble with ?(apart from finding the usb) im sure we ll be able to help
The only three reasons I've ever experienced that cause this issue is that your flash drive has gone into a write-locked state, which a lot of flash drives do once they die. It's a fail safe so there's less of a chance of losing your material, so you can get your stuff off of it before throwing it away, this will make programs like 360Rev ignore it. Another problem might be that you yourself have write-protected it, and the third and final reason I've come across for this, is it's simply just not a good quality drive. The best flash drives for use, factoring in both quality, and durability, are Transcend, Sandisk, and Kingston, specifically the HyperX Stuff from Kingston, because that stuff is off the charts. If you have a dead flash drive that the Xbox can only read, you're best off just getting another drive, but something of higher quality this time. Yea, it's a but more expensive, but definitely worth it To get help, you're better off making your own topic about this issue
