I bought Forza Motorsport 2 the other day to just goof off and mod my save and enjoy my favorite game. The 360 Revolution tool wont let me select to mod the save. I have tried extracting my file, modding it and re-saving it to my External harddrive but with zero luck. I keep recieveing this error. I have updated my .net framework and updated my Microsoft Visual C++. But still like I said no dice. Here's the error: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click COntinue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately. What do you mean exactly by it won't let you select the save? What are you doing that entitles 360Revolution to select the save (Loading it in the editor, opening it in Resigner/Rehasher, etc...)? Also please provide the save in question, as well as try loading a fresh save without title updates applied to isolate if any title updates modified the way the saves are written now (which could throw an error in the editor).
This particular error here makes me think 360Rev doesn't have permission to open this directory. Place the save on your desktop and run 360Rev in Administrator mode and then try. Or It could be that whatever box the editor is trying to load is having problems converting that particular string of data into an integer, therefore they more than likely encrypted or change the offset of there save.
It doesnt even give me the option to mod the file. I have to extract it to my desktop and then open it with the mod tool mod it, then when I try to save it, it gives me this error.....I will upload the save. I cant upload my save
Use mediafire to upload and share the link. Also try loading a fresh save without title updates applied to isolate if any title updates modified the way the saves are written now (which could throw an error in the editor). Seems to work for my Forza 2 save without any Title updates and without any over-the-top crazy values.
Here's the save https://www.mediafire.com/?g2rzzgx4hi0xyvk I ran it in admin mode and still the same error....
Have you tried loading a fresh save yet? (without title updates applied or any excessive money values) This is to make sure this isn't an isolated incident and that this is an issue that definitely needs to be resolved if applicable. Nevertheless, I'll take a look at your save as well as cross-referencing it with my save and my game to figure out what the cause of your issue is. EDIT: I've updated my save with a title update and it does seem that since at least one of the title updates did change some of the values and offsets of the save. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I'll note it and further investigate it along with the overhaul.
Topic has been marked as solved and by the looks of it, will be fixed in upcoming updates to 360Rev. Thank you for the replies Hipsterr and following the correct format. -Iamcoolz
