Game Installation Data is Required in order to play the game and it will be installed in-game which is approximately 3.7GB in size For Method 1 or approximately 115KB in size for Method 2.
    Method 2 is Recommended.

Method 1 (This Method will Install Approximately 3.7GB of Additional Content) :
Before running the game, Copy all of the contents in the "installation1" folder to the root directory of the game and overwrite all duplicated folders (There won't any duplicated files so don't worry).
    Launch the game afterwards.
If you Miss this step, You'll get Unreadable Disc Errors. So Read Carefully!

Method 2 (This Method will Install Approximately 115KB of Additional Content) :
Before running the game, Move all of the contents in the "installation1" folder to the root directory of the game and overwrite all duplicated folders (There won't any duplicated files so don't worry).
Delete the empty "installation1" folder afterwards and launch the game.
If you Miss this step, You'll get Unreadable Disc Errors. So Read Carefully!

*If launching the game with the default.xex file won't load for you, Launch the game with the game.xex file instead.

Game is tested in Extracted Format (.xex).
    (Minimum Dashboard Version Required: v2.0.16537.0)

Installation Data is Compatible with the following Xbox 360 Configured/Formatted Storage Devices:
    • USB Stick.
    • Internal Hard Drive.
    • External Hard Drive.
    • 4GB Internal Flash Memory (Method 2 Only).

The folder structure used is as follows:

Games \ Far Cry 4 \ Extracted Files.

(Data Installation will be Automated in-game but for your curiosity, Here's a reference for the file location).

Folder Structure for Installation Data To Internal Hard Drive:

    (Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 555308CA \ 00000001 \ installation1 (Installed Data #1)

Or To External Hard Drive/Usb Drive:

    (Example) USBMU0 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 555308CA \ 00000001 \ installation1 (Installed Data #1)

Or To 4GB Internal Flash Memory (Method 2 Only).

    (Example) OnBoardMU \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 555308CA \ 00000001 \ installation1 (Installed Data #1)

This Represents Your Plugged in Configured/Formatted External Usb Storage Devices.
    1st External Usb Storage= USBMU0
    2nd External Usb Storage= USBMU1
3rd External Usb Storage= USBMU2 and so on...

*If you have problems running the game with FSD and/or DashLaunch, Disable both of them and load the game using xexmenu.

    Tested on:

Did you copy the contents from "installation1" folder to the root of the game?

    List down your console specs...

Honestly, I didn't encounter any problems after doing everything stated so it's hard to say what's the issue but i recommend you do some trial and error to find the source of the problem...

1.OK so run the default xex to install game data

2.Then copy the files from the instalation1 folder to the 555308CA in the content folder

3.Run the game with the game xex is this correct

Yes and Remember not the root of your hdd but the root of Far Cry 4 folder.

Method 2 is to move all the contents from the "installation1" folder to the root of Far Cry 4 folder and then delete the empty "installation1" folder then launch the game where it will install just about 115KB of Data to run the game as well so there won't be a large 3.7GB installation necessary.

The main post will be updated to include the 2nd method as well.

Are you on the required Dashboard Version? Maybe you could try a different copy of the game...

Nope only one Disc, I would suggest getting a different copy of the game or waiting for a different version like a region free one or something...

Are you using FSD and Dashlaunch? Have you tried disabling them and running the game?
Remember the launch.ini created by dashlaunch should be moved somewhere else temporarily...

Yup i had the same problem, i fixed it by making sure the contents from the worlds folder from installation 1 where in the correct folders in the worlds folder in the root of Farcry 4. It fixed that for me.
