Very nice tut, you can also do this with Disc one to save you burning it if you're using a back-up of your game
So im guessing you can take the content folder from disc one add to HDD then install disc two folder as we always do HDD/Games ? Just like GTA V
Thanks ADDZ The game was tested in Extracted Format so no burning was done Disc 1 Contains Installation Contents, Single Player and Multiplayer is on Disc 2 aka (Disc 1 also).
Still no system link though. Can you guys play on Link? If not, what could be the problem? Very nice tut. This will be very useful to many.
Meteoracp I've pinned your topic for others to find it more easily and since you've done a great job on it
So long as you have enough space but it has to be placed in the USBMU Partition Directory. For Example, Each External USB Storage that has been Formatted/Configured with the console will give you 3 folders: 1st External USB Storage= Usb0, USBMU0 and USBMUCache0 2nd External USB Storage= Usb1, USBMU1 and USBMUCache1 3rd External USB Storage= Usb2, USBMU2 and USBMUCache2 and so on... Place the content in the USBMU0, USBMU1 or USBMU2 Directory. The game shouldn't prompt you for any installation if done correctly.
Hi guys any help would be great RGH latest freestyle and dashlaunch and dashboard I extracted the content folder (done this plenty of times before) and used content manager to send the files to the correct folder. I then copied disc 2 over and booted it up, i just get the logo appearing and dissapearing over and over again... read this post, put the files in to a folder 'Disc 2' and then extracted the files from Disc 1 into a new folder 'Disc 1' Still get the looping logo... going to delete disc 2 and copy over again, if i boot disc 1 i get a screen saying content is already installed please insert disc 1 (aka disc 2)...
guys in my call of duty disc1 installer i have many folders also with languages (english spanish italian ecc) so i put the languages file in the content/0000000000000000/41560914/00000002/ but the game is still in english and the subtitles are in english too. so those many language folders what am i supposted to do?
Didn't experienced this even on a first try but update us on your progress. If you only use english, Leave the rest aside.
I don't use those so I wouldn't know but if i were to try it, I wouldn't put those files in the content folder but instead copy them over to the main game disc folder and either put the italian folder alongside the english one or copy the italian files into the english one or rename the italian files into the english file names and replace over the english files. Also try switching your console's language and let us know.
Right lets start again. All you gotta do is ............. Extract disc one to folder on your PC then extract Content folder from disc one. So your content folder will look like this when done. content/0000000000000000/41560914/00000002/2gb file / 1.9gb file Just take the 41560914 folder and place it like this on your HDD HDD/content/0000000000000000/HERE!!!! So when you have done it it should look like this ..... HDD/content/0000000000000000/41560914/00000002/2gb file / 1.9gb file Then thats disc one done with. Then extract disc 2 in to a folder like you would with any other game and move over to your HDD like so.... Hdd/Games/Advanced Warfare After you have done that boot default.xex in disc 2 folder on HDD/Games Done
Is the installation just the same with other multi disc games like GTA V? Just transfer disc 1 to content folder thats it? Also, does this apply with 4gb jtags? And only using an external HDD?
Yeah dont need disc on on hdd just disc 2, and the content folder from disc 1 i must of had a bad transfer of disc 2 when i used flash to transfer it. its working now thanks again!
