Do Not Accept The New Update Unless You Want To ReDownload All Your Games & Apps!! This Means No Live For Preview Participants Until The New Update Is Ready.. Fecal Leaking i need to turn my auto update off, if my shizz gets formatted i feel sorry for whatever xbox rep answers the phone because i am going to need alot of FREE SHIZZ
I better turn auto update off too, this is messy! For those that dont know, go to System > Power and startup > automatically download updates and purchases Uncheck that box and save yourself a sh*t load of grief!
What dash version are you guys on? I'm on 6.2.11624.0 & I don't see that version on the xbo dash wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_One_system_software
Any word on the actual update OS version? I received an update of 1900MB earlier... OS Version: 6.2.11624.0 My games and apps are fine (as are my friends console)
I found this also so the 1900mb was it. Looks like some of us got lucky and got the update and our games are fine. However I think I'm going to leave auto update off for a few. Those who are not participating in the Xbox One Preview do not have to worry, however if you are part of the preview and receive a 1900MB update, decline it. Declining the update will disconnect your Xbox One from Xbox LIVE, meaning you will not be able to play online. Microsoft has said in an official statement: Xbox Preview Participants, Due to an unforeseen issue with our update system, if when powering on your Xbox One console you are asked to download a system update, please decline it. By declining the update you will go off-line and not be factory reset. Please leave your console powered on until further notice. We've identified an issue that could cause a small sub-set of consoles enrolled in Public Preview to factory reset after downloading the latest system update (deleting all local hard drive content). Note that a factory reset does not impact profile settings or game saves (which are synced to our servers when you connect to Xbox Live), or content stored on an external hard drive. For now, please decline the system update until we can address this issue on our end. Of course, preview users who wish to play online aren't going to be too happy about this bug.
Just a little update guys, I received an update today when I got on to play Destiny. It was around 256+MB update, all of my games are still there and playable. New dash is 6.2.11631.0 Perhaps it was a fix for the issue that people were having with the factory reset bug?
Dam thank god I was also lucky too updated without even looking at the info lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk in space
