Activision has announced Skylanders: Trap Team, the latest title in the series from Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders Giants dev, Toys for Bob. This one will see the introduction of more than 50 new Skylanders, including new core characters and unique Trap Masters. Trap Team will also make use of miniature 'Traptanium' trap accessories that plug into a new Traptanium Portal, enabling you to ensnare villains and play as them at any time. There'll be eight traps - each representing the game's eight elements - with a variety of elemental baddies to collect. Skylanders: Trap Team will be available as a Starter Pack, bundling the game with the new portal, two Skylanders figures - Snap Shot and Food Fight - and the life and water traps. It'll be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Wii and 3DS on October 5th in North America and on October 10th in Europe.
