I have an Xbox One and about 3 times a week ether a game will crash mid game or my Xbox One will go to a Black screen when I hit the Home button. I have seen a lot of things about the Xbox going black screen, but no one has figured it out yet. I know how to fix it, but is there any way to stop it. On the other hand, I have not seen may threads about games crashing mid game. Ether I will be playing Ghost or my girlfriend will be playing The Lego Movie Video game and mid game it just take us to the home screen and we have to start the game all over again. I'm also having a problem with my controller disconnecting for about 5 seconds every now and then. Not really a big deal unless your in the heat of the moment in Ghost and that 5 seconds of disconnections gets you downed in Extinction or you lose you 15 kill streak in multiplayer. I just wanted to put this out there, but most likely this forum has already been posted a 100 times and someone is going to yell at me to use the search function before posting it again, but o well. I hope someone will give me some useful information and not flame me please. Thank you.
It has happened to me once before go on to your setting on your xbox one and reset to factory default. it a pain but it work for me
Mid game crashes are likely the game's fault and will be patched by a future game update. The black screen... no idea. Haven't had any of that with mine.
Console Update has not installed properly. I had this problem and had to install it again. Hope this helps
As with most issues with this broken bloody console, do the hard power reset by holding down the power button for 10seconds (or until white light on power brick turns orange), turn it on again and it should be fixed.
Update the controller to fix the disconnecting issues, that was resolved in the last controller update.
