been missing this games lately so i tried setting up like it was before i have a jtag the game is extract on a usb and on another usb which is used as my xbox hard drive(configured in the settings) i put the title update in the 000B0000 folder didnt work so i tried patching the xex with xextool using the patch file on the same TU , still doesnt work now when i start the game i get a "this game was updated to an incompatible version" why isnt this working :/
Make sure your ID's match and place the TU like so ......... Root://Content/0000000000000000/<TITLEID>/000B0000/<TU File Here> Where it says TitleID make sure it matches your game id. If so thats the right game
yeah like i said ive managed to install the DLC just fine so i know where to put it but what about ID, what do u mean ? also, do i have to patch the xex ?
Did you unlock the DLC via 360 content manager. Also you need to make sure the title update your using has matching ID's for your game. Again use 360 content manager and open your games default.xex and see what ID's your game has then open the TU and make sure they match. At that point i would also make sure the dlc is unlocked and upload to console. When you done that and placed the title update on your HDD reboot console and make sure the TU is active. Boot the game and see what happens
ok i checked it now with 360 content manager youre referring to the media id yeah ? both are 0AEB2159 still it doesnt work maybe im checking it wrong i remember that without the title update i didnt get the purple coke machine that let you carry 3 weapons to show on KINO DER TOTEN so thats the testing i do everytime is there a better way to see if the title update is applied ? crap my testing is bad just read that only if im online i can get the Mule kick perk machine it wasnt like that before ((
If you check in fsd it should show you the title update and it will be highlighted to confirm its active. Also try another TU but don't use FSD to download it as sometimes it can be buggy. Also make sure any other TU's are deleted and not active
