Xbox boss Phil Spencer has revealed that an upcoming Xbox One update will allow gamers to take screenshots. We have had the ability to capture our finest moments using the consoles built in Game DVR but unlike the PS4 we couldn't capture screenshots. Spencer has responded to an Xbox One fan onTwitter who was asking if we would ever be able to take screenshots: https://twitter.com/XboxP3/status/471475293174382592 It's not yet known whether the ability to capture screenshots will be available through voice commands, similar to the 'Xbox record this' directive used to capture video footage on the Game DVR. The addition of screen grabs will allow the Xbox One to rival the Sony PS4, which has always allowed users the ability to take and share them.
I think this would be a great feature I already post pics of my gameplay to friends. If I could do it as simply as a voice command to capture and then later posting it where ever I may want it......that would be awesome
